The world is entering the "Era of the ocean". It has become the mainstream of the country which has sea, even some nations which has no sea are also looking for ways to reach the sea to receive resources from the sea. For Vietnam, the sea plays an important role in opening up the process to integrate the world. Seabed, and surface of sea contains large resources and diversified, provides the country with  a rich source of energy and is becoming increasingly essential for the development of the country in both current and future.

From how far away, my ancestory shed blood and bone effort to preserve and protect the sacred sea of the country. Today, we need to creatively apply the lessons of history, combine national strength with strength era further confirmed indisputable sovereignty of Vietnam in Hoang Sa and Truong Sa protection firm ownership sea islands of the country.

"Vietnamese Imprint on Southern Sea" confirmed evidence of Vietnam in the Southern Sea, contributing to Disseminate accurate information to all classes of people, as well as a way to assert that world of tough stance and determination to protect the integrity of the country's territorial sovereignty of the people of Vietnam.

The book consists of four main contents:

Part I.Position and role of the sea, islands in Southern Sea Vietnam..

Part II.The establishment of sea and continental veranda of Vietnam..

Part III. The process of establishment and enforcement of Vietnam's sovereignty in the Paracels and Spratlys.

Part IV. Southern Sea Dispute: Status and solutions
