On the 15-9-2006, the Minister of Culture and Information has signed the decision of promulgation of the “ Regulation on the inventory of the properties of the Museum.
On occasion of the world day of Museums, 18-5-2007, the Service of Cultural Partrimony, in coordination with the Museum of War Testimony and the High School of Culture of Hochiminh City, will organize the conference “The Inventory Work in the Museum”.
The conference will be an opportunity for gathering and exchanging points of view and useful knowledge on the inventory of the properties of the museums all over the country. It is a tribune where we can share difficulties and practical experiences in the inventory work in each museum.
The inventory work is one of the main works of the museum, it plays an important role and is in direct relation with all the activities of the museum. Therefore, on the 15-9-2006, the Ministry of Culture and Information has promulgated “the Regulation on the Inventory of the properties of the Museum”. The regulation consists of 6 chapters, 18 articles where are treated general and very fundamental problems relative to the activities of inventory of the properties of the museum.
The application of the Regulation so that it meets the real situation of each museum is also to be discussed in the conference.
The conference will take place on the 18-5-2007 at the High School of Culture of Hochiminh City, 51Quoc Huong, phuong of Thao Dien, district 2, HCM City.
