Launching the thematic exhibition “Spring - The Dawn of Victory” at the Vietnam National Museum of History

On the morning of January 6, the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH), loacated at 216 Tran Quang Khai Street, Hanoi, held the opening ceremony of the thematic exhibition “Spring - The Dawn of Victory”. The event commemorates several significant national milestones: the 80th anniversary of the first General Election of the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026), the 85th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s return to Vietnam to lead the revolutionary movement (January 28, 1941 - January 28, 2026), the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026), and welcomes the upcoming 14th National Congress of the Party.

Vietnam National Museum of History Reviews 2025 Achievements and Sets Strategic Course for 2026

On the morning of December 12, 2025, Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) held the annual review conference to summarize outstanding achievements in 2025 and set strategic directions for tasks in 2026. Attending and chairing the conference were Mr. Nguyen Van Doan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the VNMH; Mr. Nguyen Van Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoan, Member of the Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Party Committee’s Inspection Commission, and Deputy Director. The conference was also attended by all VNMH staff and representatives from Company 5, Regiment 31, under the Mobile Police Command, Ministry of Public Security.

Delegation from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China visits the Vietnam National Museum of History

A delegation from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, led by Mr. Zhao Yong Tao, the Deputy Director-General of the Department of Finance, visited the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) on November 11, 2025. The visit was part of the activities celebrating the 75th anniversary of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations (1950 - 2025) and aimed to strengthen friendship between the two nations.
