On the occasion of International Museum Day (18 May), the Vietnam National Museum of History will offer free admission to visitors on 18 May 2026 (Monday).

 

Opening hours:
Morning: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Afternoon: 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM 
Visitors may also explore the special exhibition “Spring – The Beginning of Victory”, currently on view from 6 January 2026 through July 2026. Venue: Vietnam National Museum of History 216 Tran Quang Khai Street, Hoan Kiem ward, Hanoi, Vietnam.

On April 21, 2026, the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) hosted a working session with the Korea Heritage Service, on the occasion of the Sate visit of the President of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam. The Korean delegation was led by Chairman Huh Min, accompanied by Mr. Lee Eun Seok, Director of the National Research Institute of Maritime Heritage (NRIMH) and other members. They were received by Mr. Nguyen Van Doan, Director of the VNMH together with Mr. Nguyen Quoc Binh, Deputy Director, and heads of the Museum’s specialized departments.
