On the occasion of the Lunar New Year - Spring of Quy Mao Year (Year of the Cat) 2023, on behalf of Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH), I would like to send to all employees and the collaborators, domestic and foreign readers the best wishes for New Year.

 
By 2022, with the attention of the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as well as the effective coordination of relevant agencies, domestic and international organizations and individuals, the VNMH’s Board of Directors and all staffs have effort to overcame all difficulties and successfully completed plans of work in 2022.
In 2023, the country continues to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of Vietnam Communist Party with many other important events. On the basis of the achievements achieved in 2022, the Vietnam National Museum of History still will be a unite, make more efforts to complete excellently all tasks.

From 18 May 2019, the exhibition “Treasures of the Red River. Archaeological Collections from the Museums of Vietnam” will be running in the Winter Palace’s Halls of the History of Ancient Writings. It is being timed to mark Ho Chi Minh’s birthday and the days of the city named in his honour.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory in the air (12/1972-12/2022), the thematic exhibition titled "Blood and Flowers - Hanoi 12 days and nights" was launched at the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) on the morning of November 16, 2022. It held by the Vietnam National Museum of History collaboration with theArchives of the Office of the Party Central Committee.
