Following the Official Letter No.1942/UBND-KGVX on June 21st 2021 of the Hanoi People’s Committee on continuing to implement strict measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 epidemic and based on the current situation:

The Vietnam National Museum of History would like to announce to welcome visitors again from July 1st 2021.

The museum is open every day (except Mondays for cleaning, disinfection and other prevention measures).

- Morning: From 8:00am to 12:00am

- Afternoon: From 1:30pm to 5pm

Requirements for visiting the museum:

- Wear your mask before entering and during the visit.

- Check your body temperature and wash your hands with antiseptic solution before entering the museum.

- Follow the instructions of the museum’s staffs to ensure a safe distance.

- Strictly implement epidemic prevention measures under the guidance of the Ministry of Health.

From 18 May 2019, the exhibition “Treasures of the Red River. Archaeological Collections from the Museums of Vietnam” will be running in the Winter Palace’s Halls of the History of Ancient Writings. It is being timed to mark Ho Chi Minh’s birthday and the days of the city named in his honour.
