The working visit of delegates of the National Museum of Vietnamese History in China.

Accomplishing the Decision n o 5085/QD-BVHT of the 04 - 12 - 2008 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the delegation of the National Museum of Vietnamese History, conprising 9 members, headed by Dr Pham Quoc Quan, Director of the Museum, is arrived at Nanning - China to assist to the inauguration of the exhibition under the theme The silk road on sea - Ceramics taken from wrecked ships in the Vietnam sea from 14/12/2008 to 21/12/2008.

Signature of the programme of cooperation Vietnam - South Korea

On the 22 th of December 2008 in the morning, has taken place solemnly the ceremony of signature of agreement of cooperation on archaeological exploration between the National Museum of Vietnamese History and the National Museum of South Korea. It is one of the consecutive cooperations agreed by the Ministries of Culture and Sports of the two countries since 2006 on the study, cultural exchanges and other relative domains. In three years of cooperation, the two museums have successfully realized many study visits and organized an exhibition at the National Museum of South Korea in 2008.

Cooperation of exhibition at Kuangsi - China

This morning at the Museum of the Choang autonomous people of Kuangsi - China , has taken place the solemn inauguration of the exhibition Treasures of the silk road on sea - Ceramics taken from the wrecked ships on the Vietnamese sea bed. That is an event marking the extremely efficient cooperation between the two museums since years, it is a bridge helping the two peoples to better know the cultural history of the two peoples. On this occasion, the Redaction has the pleasure to present the opening speech of the Director of the National Museum of Vietnames History.

Exhibition at Nanning - China

With the authorization of the leadership of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the National Museum of Vietnamese History has continued the cooperation with the Museum of the Autonomous Region of Choang People of Kuangsi, China in organizing the exhibition on the theme The silk road on sea - Ceramics and Chinawares taken from wrecked ships on sea bed of Vietnam at Nanning - China in December 2008.

Exhibition: Antique objects from the depth of Vietnam sea

In the exhibition at the Cultural House of Youth of Vung Tau city on the occasion of the Labour Day of May 1 st and of the Sea Festival 2006, the exhibition Antique objects from the depth of Vietnam sea has attracted many visitors. Through the exhibited objects, the visitors have a more complete idea on the sea road of trade of the XV – XVI centuries on the Vietnam sea.
