Teeth of hominids, fossils, c. 500,000 - 400,000 BP, were discovered in the rock-shelters of Tham Khuyen and Tham Hai, Tan Van commune, Binh Gia district, Lang Son province n 1965.

These fossilized remains of hominids were the first to be discovered in Vietnam by archaeologists. The teeth are quite large, the upper teeth are cube-shaped, and the lower teeth are geometrical. Most of the teeth have their alveolar bones developed. This proves the fact that in the Pleistocene epoch, Vietnam was a place where hominids gathered and developed.

In the collection of the Vietnam National Museum of History, there is a relatively impressive and beautiful object. It is a pair of Chinese cobalt pattern ceramic vases. It might remind us that the objects were made for the rich people in feudal time. However, they were the place to hide the confidential document dispatched from overseas to Hai Phong for the party (now the Communist Party of Vietnam) in 1932. The vases are some of the remembrances related to the revolutionary life of Nguyen Luong Bang, a pioneer and leadership of CPV.
